Dr. Imani Romney-Rosa Chapman is a leadership strategist, educator, facilitator, and coach whose work focuses on culture, equity, and systems change across organizations, communities, and families.

She is the founder and director of Imani Strategies, LLC, a consulting and educational practice that partners with organizations, leaders, individuals, and families navigating complex questions of culture, leadership, and equity. Known for holding courageous conversations with clarity and compassion, Dr. Chapman equips leaders with practical frameworks for adaptive leadership, relational practice, and systems thinking.

A respected voice on race, identity, and solidarity within Jewish life and beyond, her writing appears in Lilith Magazine, Teaching Beautiful Brilliant Black Girls, and Racial Equity–Informed Philanthropy. Dr. Chapman holds a Doctor of Ministry from Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion, where she was a UJA Federation Graduate Fellow.At the center of her work is a commitment to helping people and institutions cultivate cultures where truth can be spoken, complexity can be held, and the next generation can live fully and safely into their humanity.
